I don’t have time for writer’s block. I have a monster to-do list. If I don’t do what I need to do on a daily basis, I’ll fall way behind and I won’t make any money.
Each day is a constant seesaw of prioritizing, getting things done, and finding the time to take care of the rest of my life. Writer’s block is a luxury I can’t afford.
Once I adopted that attitude, the notion of “finding my muse” became a non issue. Time to write a blog post? I’d sit and write the post. One thing off my to-do list. Feel like writing a short story? I open up a word document and get to work.
It’s really that simple. Writer’s block doesn’t exist. For me, it was simply my fear taking over. When I started ignoring the fear, the words came a lot quicker and I got a lot more productive.

I was just telling someone I don’t believe in it, so it doesn’t affect me… I suppose a lot of mental things work that way. It’s not a physical block typically, so it’s kind of a placebo effect/self-fulfilling prophecy when something is given a generic name.
